It sounded like the sort of thing that would be right up my alley, but I found I just wasn&#039;t all that interested in the protag.  Persisted for about 70 pages before I realized it was feeling like too much of a chore and set it down for something else.  The writing was smooth and the world setting seemed solid but I just didn&#039;t care about Locke.  Nothing set me off, particularly, I just realized I was giving myself excuses not to have to read it.  So I quit.  I may give it another run at some point.]]></description>
