This one’s not about New Orleans

Musical dream, possibly inspired by Legomancer’s wonderful dream posting.

I dreamed that I was playing a mix tape for some friends at my house. I specifically remember that it was a tape, on some sleek black stereo components. Everyone was grooving to the opening guitar riff of AC/DC’s “Hell’s Bells” and I was really pleased with myself. Then Kurt asked if this was a mixtape he had made and I said it was most certainly not, that I had made it. Then, the next song came on, which was Bjork doing a cover of The Police’s “Walking on the Moon”. Kurt wanted to know where I’d gotten such a cool song, which put to rest the dispute of who had made the mixtape. It was such a good cover, too. I wish there were such a thing in the waking world.
